Maharishi Ayur-Veda health care experts: Awakening health and wholeness around the world

A conference in MERU, Holland, on 24 October brought recognition to many aspects of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's Vedic Approach to Health. Experts in Maharishi Ayur-Veda natural health care, known as Vaidyas, were among those recognized for bringing the benefits of Maharishi's programmes to people in many countries.

'They are really the custodians of Ayurveda from the tradition of India, the land of the Veda,' commented Dr Rainer Picha, Minister of Health of the Global Country of World Peace.

Praising Vaidya Vyas and other Vaidyas in residence at the international capital in MERU, who were attending the conference, Dr Picha said that they represent all the many Vaidyas around the world, 'bringing the knowledge of perfect health, which is the most ancient system of health existing in the world, in an authentic way to the entire globe'.

He noted particularly the Vaidyas' extensive knowledge and skill in the special form of Ayurvedic pulse diagnosis, which allows a very accurate assessment of the patient's state of health.

The capital in MERU was itself acknowledged as the hub from which all the tours of the Vedic experts and Vaidyas to countries around the world are coordinated.
