Who's Who of European Women features Ayurvedic expert Dr Karin Pirc

Dr. Karin Pirc, principal doctor of the Maharishi Ayurveda Private Clinic, Bad Ems, Germany, has been included in the first edition of the directory Who's Who of European Women.
In her twenty-five years of outstanding work in the service of Maharishi Ayurveda, Dr. Pirc has played a leading role in the expansion of Ayurvedic health care in the western world, and has made a significant personal contribution to the health of tens of thousands of people.
In 2006 Dr. Pirc became the first European to be awarded the prestigious Indian ''Global Hakim Ajmal Khan Award'' for exceptional achievements in the field of Ayurveda.
She has been medical director of the Maharishi Ayurveda Health Centre Bad Ems since 1992.
Who's Who of European Women is a German-language biographical directory of the life's work of 1,800 women in Germany and Austria.
