Austria is a key centre for the knowledge and practical application of Maharishi Ayurveda health care in Europe. There are currently seven physicians who have been trained in Maharishi Ayurveda in the country, and two health centres, one in Upper Austria and one in Vienna.
Many initiatives are being developed to bring the benefits of the world's oldest and most complete, natural, and prevention-oriented system of medicine to medical professionals and to the public, with the aim of promoting perfect health in the whole society.
One project involves plans to build a Maharishi Ayurveda clinic on a beautiful three-hectare piece of land in Austria. The project is being developed under the leadership of Dr Wolfgang Schachinger, who has been running a successful clinic incorporating Maharishi Ayurveda treatment approaches for many years.
The new facility will be the first Maharishi Ayurveda clinic in Europe designed according to Maharishi Vastu (Vedic architecture).
Global Good News will continue to report on initiatives for perfect health in Austria through Maharishi Ayurveda health care.
