Online video replays are now available for the inspiring, star-studded event on June 7, hosted by the Urban Zen Foundation and the David Lynch Foundation in New York City. Held at the Urban Zen Center in Manhattan, the evening featured iconic philanthropists David Lynch and Donna Karan, and other thought leaders—highlighting how they have partnered together to create 'change from within' for veterans and their families who suffer from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

The event celebrated the New York launch of ''Operation Warrior Wellness'', which aims to bring the Transcendental Meditationprogram to 10,000 military veterans suffering from PTSD.
Speakers included Norman E. Rosenthal, M.D., author of Transcendence: Healing and Transformation through Transcendental Meditation,* whose new research—showing dramatic improvements in PTSD symptoms in Iraq and Afghanistan veterans who learned Transcendental Meditation—has just been published in Military Medicine.
Another eminent scientist who spoke was Dr Fred Travis, Director of the Center for Brain, Consciousness, and Cognition, and an expert in the effects of Transcendental Meditation on developing integrated brain functioning.
Several veterans spoke movingly of their experiences—the horrors they and their families endured from PTSD, and the great relief they found through Transcendental Meditation.
The event, webcast via live streaming video on June 7, began with a stirring performance by Miri Ben-Ari, the 'Hip-Hop Violinist'.
David Lynch and Donna Karan also took great pride in presenting ''Resilient Warrior Award'' to former Captain Jerry Yellin, decorated World War II fighter pilot, and Chief Master Sergeant Ed Schloeman (Ret.), Vietnam Marine veteran, who both serve as national co-chairs of Operation Warrior Wellness.
The launch event was presented by the David Lynch Foundation National Host Committee: Russell Brand, Stephen Collins, Candy Crowley, Laura Dern, Bill Duke, Clint Eastwood, Ben Foster, Heather Graham, Laura Harring, Donna Karan, Eva Mendes, Natalie Mendoza, Mehmet Oz, M.D., Gwyneth Paltrow, Bill Pullman, and Rick Rubin.
