US: Weekly radio and newspaper reports explore benefits of Maharishi Ayur-Veda health care

Weekly newspaper articles and radio shows in the US have been promoting the benefits of Maharishi Ayur-Veda health care, resulting from a visit by nationally syndicated radio personality and writer Sandy Zimmerman to Maharishi Ayurveda Health Center in Lancaster, Massachusetts, USA.
The weekly radio programme hosted by Sandy Zimmerman, broadcast from Las Vegas, Nevada and syndicated throughout the US, explores the topics of health, travel, and entertainment. After visiting the Health Center in Lancaster for a day, during which she receiving a consultation from the Vaidya (Ayurvedic health expert from India), Ms Zimmerman was so inspired that she began airing weekly radio segments based on her experience there. One of these programmes, which focused on unique vacation getaways, was chosen to air on iTunes, which has 8 million member users.
In addition to the radio shows, Ms Zimmerman has published newspaper articles, such as one appearing in the Las Vegas Tribune on 30 November 2010. In the Tribune article she states: 'This amazing health and wellness center is not like any other I've ever seen in 25 years . . . . For your next getaway, why not stay in Maharishi Ayurveda Health Center, for a vacation that could change your life.' Soon, the Las Vegas Tribune will feature an additional article by Ms Zimmerman, which will focus on balancing treatments used in Maharishi Ayur-Veda such as the Abhyanga oil message.
Also to be featured on Ms Zimmerman's radio show in December will be interviews with staff at the Lancaster Center including President Lothar Pirc; the resident Vaidya; and the Ayurvedic chefs who serve daily vegetarian, organic meals for guests.
'Sandy is very dynamic, and we expect that her media segments will attract many more guests to Lancaster to receive life-changing Ayurvedic treatments,' said Dr Kingsley Brooks, Vice President of the Center.
