In Serbia, doctors and health practitioners have the opportunity to receive additional training in Maharishi Ayur-Veda health care.
Branko Cicic, National Director of the Global Country of World Peace for Serbia, has formed, along with health professionals, a new foundation of Maharishi Ayur-Veda. The foundation is offering two courses developed in conjunction with leaders of the Global Country in the field of health.
As a former socialist country, the health care system of Serbia 'is almost exclusively run by the government', said Raja Felix Kaegi, Raja of Invincible Serbia for the Global Country of World Peace.*
The country has a surplus of doctors, so many are unemployed, he continued. These unemployed doctors are beginning to take advantage of the courses in Maharishi Ayur-Veda, and through the foundation the goal is to offer this advanced training to all unemployed doctors in the country.
They hope to achieve government recognition of these additional qualifications, Raja Felix said.
In addition, the Global Country in Serbia has beautiful land that is auspicious according to principles of Maharishi Vedic Architecture. Practitioners of Transcendental Meditation and Yogic Flying are creating coherence in national consciousness through group practice of these technologies of consciousness on the land, said Raja Felix.
