Maharishi VedAroma: New, unique methodology in line with principles of Maharishi Ayur-Veda health care

Dr Vyas is a Vaidya (Maharishi Ayur-Veda expert from India) who helped instruct the recent Maharishi Aromatherapy Consultants Training Course. He explained how Maharishi VedAroma oils cohere with the general principles of Ayur-Veda, and how experts including Dr Vyas are working to incorporate the new methodology within Maharishi's complete, natural system of health care.

'Maharishi VedAroma acts on the level of the senses, mind, and soul to produce a blissful state,' began Dr Vyas. 'The oils help to create Ojas in the body, which according to Maharshi Ayur-Veda is the substance responsible for strength, immunity, lustre, intellect—and in turn, success in life.'

In Maharishi Ayur-Veda, he continued, it is advised to apply various aromas as part of one's daily routine, in accordance with the seasons. In addition to addressing specific disorders, essential oils can aid healthy people in enlivening their physiologies.

The Vaidya explained that many different health care methodologies can be embraced by Maharishi Ayur-Veda, and that Maharishi VedAroma is a unique approach to health in line with these principles. 'Already, in this Consultants Training Course, we've introduced the basic principles of the modality, but the next step is to expand and provide more efficacy to the approach,' he explained.

Dr Vyas is working continually on this effort—to fully incorporate VedAroma into the framework of Maharishi Ayur-Veda.
