Maharishi University of Vedic Medicine: Using the Internet to bring the knowlege of perfect health around the world

Dr Rainer Picha, Minister of Health of the Global Country of World Peace, worked very closely with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi for many years and in great detail, on the curriculum and development of Maharishi University of Vedic Medicine, Maharishi Ayur-Veda Health Centres, and all the programmes and facilities for Maharishi Ayur-Veda worldwide.

Dr Picha recently expressed his great fulfilment that this knowledge is now widely available through the online courses of Maharishi University of Vedic Medicine.

'Maharishi was always in favour of the most advanced technologies in teaching,' Dr Picha said. 'We have entered the time when the Internet is the main source of information for everyone, so using the Internet as the platform for our educational programmes is a great step forward into the future, which means the expansion and spreading of Maharishi's knowledge throughout the world.'

Dr Picha also worked in great detail on portraying the historic discovery of Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam, under Maharishi's guidance, of Veda and Vedic Literature in human physiology. This discovery can now be seen in a physical, life-size model that shows where the different aspects of the Vedic Literature are located in the human physiology. One can both see and listen to Vedic Recitation that corresponds to each particular area of the physiology.

Speaking during the 18 June launch of the online courses in Maharishi Vedic Medicine, Dr Picha commented that Maharishi would be very happy about the initiative of Maharishi University of Vedic Medicine to start with online courses in order to reach students around the world more easily.
