United Arab Emirates: Maharishi College of Perfect Health, 'umbrella for Natural Law-based health care'

During a recent visit to the the United Arab Emirates, Dr Robert Schneider met with physicians and leading practitioners of traditional medicine from different countries who are already practising in Dubai Healthcare City.

Dr Schneider is a leading expert in Maharishi Ayur-Veda health care and the application of the Transcendental Meditation Programme in the treatment of heart disease. He was in the United Arab Emirates to establish Maharishi College of Perfect Health simultaneously in India, the UAE, and the United States,

Dr Schneider explored 'much of the overlap between Ayur-Veda and traditional medicine, and many similarities in pulse diagnosis, other aspects of physiology, and treatment' with traditional medicine practitioners, some of whom were eager to join in the new integrative network and university he is pioneering in Dubai.

There is already an Integrative Health Care Centre in the city, Dr Schneider explained, where there are practitioners of various systems of medicine. Maharishi College of Perfect Health is looking to recruit local faculty for the College, to work together to integrate all the different systems 'under the umbrella of Unified Field-Based Medicine*—since all systems take advantage of Natural Law,' he said.

'Here is an opportunity to bring all these systems back into a complete umbrella of Natural Law-based health care.'

Following his visit to Dubai, Dr Schneider** visited Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, as well as India. Global Good News will feature further reports from Dr Schneider in the coming days.
