France enjoys new organizations, courses, and programmes offering Maharishi's knowledge

Over the last year the Global Country of World Peace in France has expanded its offerings of Maharishi's programmes for individual enlightenment, health, and education, thanks in part to the support of National Director Dr Dominique Lemoine.

Speaking on 13 July 2009, Dr Lemoine reported that on the day of Guru Purnima this year, a new organization was created, named Maharishi Technology France (MT France). MT France will serve to expand other related organizations in France, bringing the Transcendental Meditation Technique and other programmes of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi to the general public.

Dr Lemoine has throughout the last year organized for frequent courses offering Transcendental Meditation Advanced Techniques and Maharishi Vedic Vibration Technology throughout France. He hopes that these regular opportunities will inspire increasing numbers of Transcendental Meditation participants to enroll in the upcoming Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme course in June 2010. Since beginning this initiative, 100 people in France have learned Advanced Techniques and 15 have taken part in Maharishi Vedic Vibration Technology.

A couple of Transcendental Meditation Teachers from France participated in the recent Maharishi Light Therapy with Gems Practitioners Training Course in MERU, Holland. Dr Lemoine reported that these graduates will soon be offering treatments at a Maharishi health clinic in the mountains of eastern France, as well as touring the nation with this new technology.

Finally, Dr Lemoine announced that a course on Consciousness-Based Education, welcoming educational leaders throughout France, will take place October of this year in the country's Brahma-Sthan (auspicious geographic centre). Already 20 educators have signed up for the course, he said. 'It is wonderful to see such dedication to the spread of Maharishi's knowledge throughout the public and private educational institutions of France.'
