A Physicians' Maharishi Ayur-Veda Training Course was recently completed at the beautiful Academy in northern Japan, designed and built according to Maharishi Sthapatya Veda, Vedic Architecture. The course was offered by the Japanese Association of Maharishi Ayur-Veda Physicians.
Set at the foot of a mountain range, the location allowed the doctors to experience the additional value of practising and taking their course in a perfect Vastu facility.
All the doctors who participated practise Transcendental Meditation, and many also practice the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, which greatly enhanced their learning experience during the course.
The first point of knowledge the physicians received was that Maharishi Ayur-Veda begins with the enlightenment of the physician. 'So it was extremely important for the doctors to experience Consciousness-Based Medicine by experiencing consciousness within themselves during the group practice of the Transcendental Meditation programme,' said Raja John Konhaus, Raja of Japan, for the Global Country of World Peace recently, reporting on the course. Raja Konhaus also showed photos of the beautiful location and those taking part.
The course leaders were 'the best of the East and the best of the West', Raja Konhaus said. They included Dr Manohar—one of the leading Vaidyas [expert Ayurvedic physician from India] in the world in pulse diagnosis and the application of Maharishi Ayur-Veda in clinical settings, with the experience of treating hundreds of thousands of patients. Dr Manohar perfectly represented the eternal Vedic Tradition of knowledge, as well as the traditional expression of Ayur-Veda and the way it is practised.
Dr Walter Molk, Deputy Minister of Health of the Global Country of World Peace, has had many years experience working with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi on the development of the material for this course. As a practising Ayurvedic physician himself, with clinical experience and tremendous depth of knowledge, he presented the knowledge in an extremely profound and effective way.
Together the two eminent physicians gave a very balanced expression to the theory and practice of Maharishi Ayur-Veda for all the doctors on the course, Raja Konhaus said.
Global Good News will feature a second article about the doctors' experiences on this course in the coming days.
