Qualities of Maharishi Ayurveda formulas

Maharishi's Vedic Approach to Health offers programmes which are time-tested and free from harmful side-effects to prevent disease, restore health, and promote longevity by enlivening the body's inner intelligence.
The Vedic Approach to Health includes Maharishi Ayur-Veda, the modern restoration by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi of the complete and authentic practice of Ayur-Veda—the world's oldest, most perfect, and most comprehensive system of natural medicine—as recorded in the ancient Vedic literature. Ayur-Veda originated in the Vedic civilization of ancient India and is officially recognized by the World Health Organization.
One important aspect of Maharishi Ayur-Veda is the use of herbal formulas. Ongoing research is bringing to light more and more knowledge about the power and purity of these formulas and their ability to create health on an individual and national level, verifying the knowledge recorded by the ancient seers or Rishis in the Vedic texts.
These formulas have four different qualities. With few exceptions, they are not just single herbal ingredients, but combinations of herbs (as many as 50 in some cases) with synergistic effects. These herbal formulas contain: - a primary herb, which addresses the particular part of the body or disease directly, - a secondary herb, which acts to support and balance the primary herb, - a carrier, which transports the effects of herbs deep into tissues and cells, and - the quality of balance, to make sure the whole formula and whole body act together synergistically.
A primary example is Maharishi Amrit Kalash, one of the leading herbal formulas in the world in terms of effectiveness for health.
Maharishi Amrit Kalash is a powerful antioxidant, more than 10,000 times more powerful than other common antioxidants. It has also been shown through extensive scientific research to improve cardio-vascular health, mental clarity, and neurophysiological functioning, and to neutralize chemical toxicity. Amrit Kalash has been found to reduce the side effects and toxicity of pharmaceutical drugs, especially those used in chemotherapy with cancer patients.
In addition, as with all the traditional formulas used in Maharishi Ayur-Veda, Maharishi Amrit Kalash is completely safe. Meticulous care is taken—including stringent testing and extensive international quality certifications—throughout the harvesting and manufacturing process to preserve the natural intelligence of the herbs and to ensure the quality, potency, and purity of the formulas.
Maharishi Amrit Kalash and the full range of Maharishi Ayur-Veda herbal formulas are offered in the United States through Maharishi Ayurveda Products International (MAPI). MAPI's goal is creating a healthy, happy, enlightened America through Maharishi Ayurveda. At MAPI a new website is being created especially for Maharishi Amrit Kalash, as it encompasses such a wide range of health needs and health benefits.
