How the collective consciousness of a city or a nation affects governments and changes the trends of time

Dr Robert Wynne, Raja (Administrator) of Central Vedic America for the Global Country of World Peace and Mayor of Maharishi Vedic City, USA, explained how collective consciousness structures governments and the trends of time.

'It is true that the government reflects the consciousness of the people,' Dr Wynne explained, referring to Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's Absolute Theory of Government. 'The government rises up to serve the needs of the people. As the collective consciousness of the people rises and stress decreases, the government begins to function in that same way. It's hard for governments to believe, but it is the case.'

Dr Wynne pointed out that in the Ramayana, the story of Lord Raam in the Vedic Literature, there was no suffering and life was long and prosperous for all. He explained that in the same way, 'In Maharishi Vedic City no one breaks laws and no one has to administer the city. It's on auto pilot. This is the administration of Nature that exists always, everywhere.' He pointed out that Maharishi proclaimed the age of Kali Yuga [the age of ignorance] was over and Sat Yuga [the Age of Enlightenment, Heaven on Earth] had begun two years ago. 'These trends are showing around the world.' He said, 'Governments are softer and more peaceful.

'It is a great blessing in this generation to have these programs that bring individual peace and health as the basis for collective peace and health,' he continued. 'Here in the centre of Vedic America, in Maharishi Vedic City which is now five years old, all these approaches have been implemented. The Vedic Pandits [peace-creating experts] are here; The Raj Maharishi Ayur-Veda Health Resort is here; all the buildings are built according to the principles of Maharishi Sthapatya Veda ; education is in Consciousness-Based Education schools; we have 2,000 acres in Vedic Agriculture; and defence is assured with large coherence creating groups of Yogic Flyers [the Invincible America Assembly]. It's a great time to enjoy this rising purity; but everyone should contribute whatever they can to bring about Yogic Flying groups as large as the square root of one per cent of each area's population. Those countries that have done it should help other countries achieve it. Everyone should spend some time each day to help further, to speed up this process,' Dr Wynne said, so that invincibility will soon be the reality for every community and every nation in the world.
