Statehouse insider: Eastern thought
by Doug Finke
Peoria Journal Star Translate This Article
28 August 2005
On 28 August 2005 Peoria Journal Star reported:
In his column Statehouse Insider, Doug Finke quoted a recent message from the communications office of Maharishi Vedic City advising states with 'political infighting and wasteful spending' to see if their state Capitol is facing the wrong direction.
It is a joy for Global Good News service to feature this news, which indicates the success of the life-supporting programmes Maharishi has designed to bring
fulfilment to the field of government.
The news release reported, 'According to Vedic Architecture an eastern entrance facing the rising sun is good because it promotes orderly thinking, harmonious relations, and success. North is also good.'
Finke expressed confused amusement at the fact that while his state Capitol's main entrance is on the north side, the state still seems fraught with political infighting and wasteful spending.
Every day Global Good News documents the rise of a better quality of life dawning in the world and highlights the need for introducing Natural Law based—Total
Knowledge based—programmes to bring the support of Nature to every individual, raise the quality of life of every society, and create a lasting state of world peace.
