The article features Maharishi University of Management (MUM) alumnus Ken Roseboro, publisher of The Organic & Non-GMO Report, who was interviewed for the recently released documentary GMO OMG. The film tells the story of a father's discovery of GMOs and his attempts to avoid them and feed his family healthy foods.

Ken earned his MA in professional writing from MUM in 1992. ''The program really gave me a huge boost to become a professional writer,'' he said. ''I have been writing ever since I graduated and now I feel that my writing is helping to educate more and more people about the importance of non-GMO and organic foods.''

Ken began his career writing for agricultural trade publications that focused on the grain industry. When genetically modified organisms started showing up in the late 1990s, he specialized in covering GMO issues and also wrote PR articles for Genetic ID, based in Fairfield, Iowa, USA. In 2001 he launched his own newsletter about the non-GMO market.
