Maharishi Vedic Organic Agriculture course offered in Switzerland

Maharishi Vedic Organic Agriculture and gardening can help solve current pressing environmental problems such as pollution and climate change. A beautiful course on the topic was recently offered at the Capital of Heaven on Earth in Seelisberg, Switzerland—and in the next few months, 16-hour courses will begin to be offered around the world.
Dr Peter Swan, Minister of Communication of the Global Country of World Peace, recently travelled to Switzerland and presented a preview of the forthcoming 16-hour course on Maharishi Vedic Organic Agriculture and gardening to a lecture hall packed with 60-70 people.
The course includes the environment, because 'agriculture and gardening are just parts of the environment that we use for a particular purpose—but it's the same laws of life . . . . The total intelligence of Natural Law [is] expressed in the entire environment,' Dr Swan explained.*
By approaching agriculture from this holistic angle, Maharishi Vedic Organic Agriculture—along with all of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's knowledge and programmes for every area of society—presents a solution to major problems threatening the world, including pollution, climate change, energy crises, and scarcity of water, Dr Swan said.
The 16-lesson course is designed so that participants gain knowledge through synthesis and analysis, Dr Swan said. Through synthesis, participants see that diverse practical aspects of knowledge have their source in the Unified Field of all the Laws of Nature, and through analysis, they see that these diverse aspects of practical knowledge emerge from the Unified Field.
'Total Knowledge is gained through synthesis and analysis—both together bring Total Knowledge' Dr Swan said. This is the ideal course structure that Maharishi designed, he said.
Many participants in Seelisberg were fascinated with the presentation and stayed afterwards to ask questions; many also indicated interest in taking the upcoming 16-hour course.
Dr Swan reported that the course will be available in Great Britain in February, and in other countries around the world shortly thereafter.
* Dr Peter Swan's report was featured on the 26 November 2009 Maharishi Global Family Chat, broadcast daily via Internet webcast on the Maharishi Channel, Channel 3. Podcasts of the daily Global Family Chat (audio track) are also available for automatic download, via an RSS feed.
