Maharishi Vedic Agriculture: Creating a healthy physiology through high quality food

Prevention of disease before it arises—through the creation of good health—is the approach of Maharishi Vedic Organic Agriculture.

The human physiology is constructed of food; its the means by which we gather the intelligence of Nature and bring it into our physiology, explains Raja John Konhaus, Raja of Invincible Japan for the Global Country of World Peace and expert in Vedic Agriculture.

Food makes up the building blocks of our physiology. Proteins, carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals, and essential fatty acids are some of the building blocks from which our physiology is constructed.

High quality vital food is the single most important factor in both our mental and physical health, Raja Konhaus says in a recent presentation designed as an introduction* to Vedic Agriculture.

The quality of food is one of five key elements of Maharishi Vedic Agriculture including: the understanding of how Nature functions; how to align human intelligence with Nature's intelligence** to support health, happiness, and abundance; procedures of Vedic Agriculture; and utilizing Vedic Agriculture to create an ideal society.

The human physiology is a reflection of Total Natural Law*** and so the physiology should be maintained by continually imbibing the intelligence of Nature through our food, Raja Konhaus says.

In his presentation, Raja Konhaus refers to the ancient Vedic Literature, which says that food is the root cause of strength in man, and that mind depends upon the quality of food that we eat. If we have good quality food, taken in the right proportion, at the proper time, prepared with loving attention, then there is little need for medicine.

To offer the benefits of high quality food, Raja Konhaus continues, Vedic Agriculture provides food that has four basic qualities: it is pure, fresh, fully ripened, and grown in accord with all the Laws of Nature.

When food has these four qualities, Raja Konhaus states, the physiology becomes lively in the full range of Nature's intelligence, and this perfect intelligence of Natural Law results in a healthy physiology.
