During a recent visit to the Washington, DC, area the President of Maharishi University of Management, Dr Bevan Morris, toured the Tower II office building, home of The Tower Companies, a real estate development company and renowned as the largest green developer in the region.
Tower II (2000 Tower Oaks Boulevard in Rockville, Maryland) is also the largest commercial office building in the world built in accord with Maharishi Sthapatya Veda, or Vastu* design.
Dr Morris described the building, praising its physical beauty and high standard of materials and construction, as well as the powerfully uplifting experience of being in such a large building designed perfectly according to Maharishi Vastu principles.
'If there is any place on earth where the power of Vastu is most recognizable, enjoyable, and inspiring, it is in this great [building],' Dr Morris remarked.
Many of the new buildings on the MUM campus in Fairfield, Iowa, USA, have also been constructed according to Vastu.
Jeffrey Abramson, a partner in The Tower Companies, introduced Dr Morris to a group of 11 employees who are graduates of Maharishi University of Management. The chief of personnel of the company praised these employees for their responsibility, creativity, and energy.
The executive also remarked that the company has shifted over to be an information technology-based company and these graduates from Maharishi University of Management were crucial to that shift.
* Vastu refers to Vedic architecture—the complete knowledge of design and building in accord with natural law—brought to light from the Vedic literature by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi and known as Maharishi Sthapatya Veda.
