Leading Bhutanese educator to speak at Maharishi University of Management

The Institute of Asian and American Studies at Maharishi University of Management in Fairfield, Iowa, USA, is presenting several events in the coming weeks, in a series titled: Conversations from the Land of the Thunder Dragon, featuring His Excellency Thakur S Powdyel, Former Minister of Education of the Kingdom of Bhutan.

His Excellency will speak at two events on the MUM campus, together with MUM and visiting professors in the fields of sustainability and education:

A special showing of the award-winning Bhutanese film, Travellers and Magicians, will be held on Thursday, 24 October, at the Orpheum Theatre in Fairfield. There will be a Q and A session with His Excellency following the screening.
