Maharishi Vastu buildings in every category - from schools to offices

In a video presentation at the Fourth Annual Vastu Panorama Conference in Bhopal, India, Dr Eike Hartmann showcased the wide range of Vastu buildings in the world today.

Dr Hartmann, a leading expert in the field of Maharishi Vastu architecture, first explained what Vastu is.

'Vastu is a great power in nature,' he said. 'It is that power of Natural Law which balances all the far and near influences and which is ultimately responsible for the creation and maintenance of the entire ever-expanding universe. This system of Vedic architecture is scientific, straightforward, and global, but utterly profound and effective.'

But what distinguishes Vastu from Maharishi Vastu?

Dr Hartmann explained that the ancient system of Vastu was revived and restored in its completeness by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, and it is Maharishi Vastu architecture that Dr Hartmann specializes in.

The scope of Vastu is wide, and this was a main topic of Dr Hartmann's presentation at the conference.

'We have worked with [Vastu] for more than 20 years on numerous projects around the world, including a few hundred university, college, and school buildings benefitting hundreds of thousands of students every day.'

Even more impressive, Dr Hartmann said, is an entire city built using Vastu design.

He explained, 'We planned and built the only city in the world, Maharishi Vedic City, in Iowa, USA, where every building is designed according to Vastu.'

Other unique examples of Vastu buildings include residential developments, he said.

'We built a beautiful housing development in Great Britain with Vastu buildings even reflecting the local English style and tradition of the area.'

In addition to hospital buildings, Vedic health clinics, colleges, and spas, Dr Hartmann also mentioned a Vastu office building.

'There is the world's most healthy office building, 2000 Tower Oaks Boulevard, a LEED Platinum certified building.'
