US: July Experience the Self event in Fairfield, Iowa to offer Concerts-in-the Park, celebrity presentations

This summer's 12-day Experience the Self event for visitors to Fairfield, Iowa, USA, being held July 10-22, will also offer opportunities for everyone in the community, including a free concert-in-the park series and live Skype videoconferencing with prominent psychiatrist and book author Dr. Norman Rosenthal and filmmaker David Lynch.

According to Adrienne Schoenfeld, director of the Experience the Self event, the concert series will feature outdoor entertainment, including live bands, jazz ensembles, and Maharishi Gandharva Veda^SM music. There will also be prominent guest speakers.

The performances will include a live Maharishi Gandharva Veda music concert by renowned sitarist Reshma Srivastava, who is flying in from Europe especially for this event.

Live Skyping will include an evening with Dr. Lynch and renowned physicist Dr. John Hagelin, and an evening with Dr. Rosenthal and neuroscientist Dr. Fred Travis.

''We're planning on putting on a good show for everyone,'' said Imogen Webber, who, along with her associate Patrik Siljestam, is serving as project manager for Experience the Self. ''We want to give visitors the experience of Fairfield, including meeting members of the community.''
