The article features Eugene Hunt, a graduate student in education at Maharishi University of Management in the United States.

Eugene came to MUM after a five-year career in the US Army, during which he deployed to Israel, the Persian Gulf, and Afghanistan, rising to the rank of captain and working as ground liaison officer with the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Navy.

He decided to pursue his graduate education at MUM after attending a special David Lynch Visitors Weekend at the campus in Fairfield, Iowa.

'I like incorporating meditation into a school program—Transcendental Meditation definitely works for me,'' said Eugene. ''I have seen considerable change and a lot of personal growth in the year and a half I have been meditating.''
