UK: Maharishi Free School to inspire schools around world

Maharishi Free School will be cited throughout the world as an example of effective education, said Dr Bevan Morris, President of Maharishi University of Management in Fairfield, Iowa, USA.

Already schools in several other countries are interested in following its example.

The results of Consciousness Based Education at the school have been 'outstanding', he said.

These kinds of achievements are the very results the government wants to see in education, Dr Morris said. 'The government hasn't just agreed that it should be a Free School, it's done so with enthusiasm, with appreciation, and with hope that Maharishi School will lead the way . . . .'*

Dr Morris expressed the hope that the Maharishi School and Consciousness-Based Education will expand each year to include a Maharishi Vastu school in Great Britain, a school in Scotland, a school in Wales, a school in Ireland, and other countries in Europe and around the world.
