Recent reports from countries in such widely diverse parts of the world as Africa, Europe, and Oceania have highlighted the growing popularity of programmes for ideal education and fortune-creating Vastu architecture. In some countries the first steps are being taken to introduce the Transcendental Meditation Programme to the public.
In Fiji, the first Consciousness-Based Education project has been launched, with 400 students and teachers learning the Transcendental Meditation Programme at one school. Nine additional schools have indicated their interest in the programme.
In Latvia, a plot of 20 hectares of land has been obtained to establish a Maharishi Vastu community, designed according to Vedic architecture and city planning. This community, when completed, will provide the foundation for creating national invincibility for Latvia, as residents form a coherence-creating group practising Transcendental Meditation and the advanced Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, including Yogic Flying, together.
The first steps have been taken in Mauritius to establish national invincibility through Consciousness-Based Education programmes.
In several other African countries—Congo, Cameroon, and Tonga—the first initiatives are underway to introduce Transcendental Meditation and other programmes developed by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi.
