Nigeria: International expert presents Consciousness-Based Education in many Delta district schools

Dr Ashley Deans, Global Ambassador for Consciousness-Based Education, recently visited Nigeria, where he met with a leading government official in education in the capital city of Abuja. Dr Deans received official letters of introduction to give presentations to schools in one district.

The education leader showed deep interest in Consciousness-Based Education, and based on the letters of introduction, Dr Deans gave presentations at many schools in the Delta district. These presentations were all well received.

One private school with more than a thousand students showed keen interest in beginning to implement the Transcendental Meditation Programme into its curriculum as soon as possible. Within the next year, there is hope that the children of this school will be practising Transcendental Meditation.
