The trend toward increased enrolment at Maharishi University of Management in Fairfield, Iowa, USA, continued this fall, with 125 new undergraduate students arriving in August. Increases were seen in both US and international students, the largest contingents of internationals coming from Ethiopia, Nepal, and China.

At the beginning of September, 1,167 students from 78 different countries were enrolled. New graduate students coming in October to join the MS in computer science (Computer Professionals Program) and the Accounting Professionals MBA Program are expected to raise the total to 1,300.

Several factors contributed, said Director of Admissions Brad Mylett, including rapidly growing interest in the Transcendental Meditation Technique in the US and other countries, and the presence of MUM on the Internet and on social media sites.
