New teachers, recently graduated from a Transcendental Meditation Teacher Training Course in Thailand, have now returned to Uganda, Malaysia, Vietnam, and within Thailand itself, to bring Transcendental Meditation and Consciousness-Based Education to schools and a university in these countries.
'There is a great need of the time for Teachers of Transcendental Meditation, particularly in Consciousness-Based Education,' said Dr Bevan Morris, Prime Minister of the Global Country of World Peace, during the inauguration of the new Transcendental Meditation Teacher Training Course now underway in MERU, Holland.
He reported that a similar course recently finished in Thailand, from which three new teachers returned to Uganda. One will be working full-time with the girls in a Maharishi School.
A new Teacher of Transcendental Meditation from Malaysia, who owns a school for 400 students, will personally instruct all these students in Transcendental Meditation and inspire them to continue on to become Yogic Flyers and create invincibility for their nation.
Two sisters, the first young teachers returning to Vietnam, will instruct their families and then bring Consciousness-Based Education to a university that is now ready to introduce Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's programmes on a large scale.
A new Teacher of Transcendental Meditation in Thailand already has 200 Yogic Flyers in her school; she will now expand this number to 1,000.
'Many opportunities are now there for new teachers who have big tasks, world-changing tasks to perform once they graduate from the Teacher Training Course . . . .' Dr Morris said. 'These new teachers are the hope of their nation, the upcoming beacon light of Total Knowledge for their nation.'
In the coming days Global Good News will feature an article about participants in the Teacher Training Course in Holland.
Dr Morris spoke on the 4 June Maharishi Global Family Chat, which is broadcast daily via Internet webcast on the Maharishi Channel, Channel 3. Podcasts of the daily Global Family Chat (audio track) are also now available for automatic download, via an RSS feed.
