Maharishi School, USA, finalist in Samsung's 'Four Seasons of Hope' essay competition - Vote online through 1 February

Maharishi School of the Age of Enlightenment in Fairfield, Iowa, USA is a finalist in Samsung's 'Four Seasons of Hope' Essay competition.
Schools across the United States were invited to submit a brief essay, illustrating how computer technology enhances their educational process, enabling unique, innovative teaching methods.
The Maharishi School essay, written by 12th grade writing teacher Lucinda Hall, is among those from 21 schools that were selected, nominating each school for a final online voting process that continues through 1 February at 4:00 p.m. US Central Time.
US residents are invited vote online* for the best essay. Essays receiving the most votes will bring substantial technology and financial support to their school.
Ms Hall's essay also highlights the unique Consciousness-Based Education system at the award-winning Maharishi School.
A simple, quick, and enjoyable online voting process* enables one to vote for Maharishi School, said Richard Beall, Head of Maharishi School.
People can vote five times each day, he said. Online voters also become eligible to win a laptop, in addition to prizes the school receives.
