Consciousness-Based Education is becoming more widely known and available around the globe through the dedication of many great leaders. Plans for the coming year include offering DVD courses in many countries, and creating interactive exhibitions for Maharishi Towers of Invincibility.

Quantum physicist Dr Volker Schanbacher, Minister of Education of the Global Country of World Peace, recently highlighted achievements of his Ministry.*

In the past year, 30 DVD courses in diverse languages were created. About 300 sets of courses have been delivered and will be offered in 2010 in many countries.

Another focus is to prepare interactive exhibitions for the Towers of Invincibility, which are to be built in countries around the world.

Experts are needed to create beautiful interactive videos and computer animations for visitors to enjoy at the Invincibility Towers. Dr Schanbacher asked leaders of the Global Country around the world to help find people who would enjoy working on this endeavour.

The goal is to have the exhibitions finished in the next nine months so they are ready for the scheduled completion date of one Tower of Invincibility that is rising under the leadership of Raja Jose Luis Alvarez, Raja of Invincible Latin America.

In his talk, Dr Schanbacher reiterated a recent comment by Dr Ashley Deans, Ambassador of the Global Country of World Peace for Consciousness-Based Education and Executive Director of Maharishi School of the Age of Enlightenment.

Dr Deans said that Consciousness-Based Education has significantly expanded in countries around the world just in the last five years. Previously not many schools outside the US were offering students the Transcendental Meditation Programme. Now students in many countries have the opportunity to practise Transcendental Meditation, and in some cases the advanced Yogic Flying technique as well.

There have been many great achievements in the field of Consciousness-Based Education this last year, and many significant plans are underway for the coming year, Dr Schanbacher said.

He expressed his deep appreciation for all those who are making this ideal education available everywhere, mentioning such leaders as Raja Dr John Hagelin, Raja of Invincible America; filmmaker Dr David Lynch, founder of the David Lynch Foundation for Consciousness-Based Education and World Peace; Raja Luis of Invincible Latin America; Raja Tom Stanley of Invincible Ireland; Dr Susie Dillbeck, President of the International Foundation for Consciousness-Based Education; and Dr Girish Chandra Varma,** National Director of India for the Global Country of World Peace, and Director-General of the Global Capital of World Peace at the Brahmasthan (geographical centre) of the country.

* Dr Schanbacher's presentation was given on 13 January 2010 during the continuing global celebration of 12 January, which was broadcast live via Internet webcast on the Maharishi Channel, Channel 3.

** Dr Girish Varma is also Chairman of the 160 Maharishi Vidya Mandir Schools Group and President of the Maharishi Institutes of Management and Information Technology, in India.
