In the last year, Albania has seen significant developments in the field of Consciousness-Based Education, including the introduction of Maharishi's programmes in universities and schools, and progress in the establishment of Maharishi Central University of Europe.
Raja Felix Kaegi, Raja of Invincible Albania for the Global Country of World Peace, reported on 13 July 2009 that schools and universities in his domain have shown great receptivity toward Consciousness-Based Education and the Transcendental Meditation Programme. This was especially evident during the recent national tour by Raja Felix and Dr Ashley Deans, Global Ambassador for Consciousness-Based Education of the Global Country of World Peace.
Raja Felix went on to report that the second largest university in Albania has recently signed a memorandum of understanding with Maharishi University of Management (M.U.M.), Fairfield, Iowa, USA, to collaborate closely on implementing Consciousness-Based Education and other programmes.
Most importantly, concluded Raja Felix, headway has been made in plans for Maharishi Central University of Europe on Lake Prespa, which will host 2,800 students from throughout Europe and India. 'This number, practising Yogic Flying in groups together, will be enough to create a powerful influence of positivity, harmony, and coherence for all of Europe, and to ensure invincibility for the surrounding nations.' He added that the site for the university is not only scenic, but is significant in that it marks the meeting-point of three separate countries: Greece, Albania, and Macedonia.
