by Global Good News staff writer

8 June 2009
The value of Consciousness-Based Education and the initiative of the David Lynch Foundation to offer the Transcendental Meditation Programme to one million at-risk children throughout the world are continuing to receive media attention in the United Kingdom.
A major newspaper in Wales recently published a full page article explaining Consciousness-Based Education and its wide-ranging benefits. The article highlighted the support the programme is gaining from celebrities such as Paul McCartney, who headlined a benefit concert* in New York City, USA in April.
The article was inspired by a local Yogic Flyer who contacted the editor of the paper with news of the concert, as well as of the current focus to bring Consciousness-Based Education to Wales, said Raja Peter Warburton, Raja of Invincible Great Britain for the Global Country of World Peace.
*The historic 'Change Begins Within' benefit concert on 4 April at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, USA contributed funds to teach one million at-risk children Transcendental Meditation—giving them life-long tools to overcome stress and violence, and promote peace and success in their lives. This support will help build on the extraordinary achievements of the David Lynch Foundation for Consciousness-Based Education and World Peace. The concert was headlined by Paul McCartney, with many special guests including Ringo Starr.
