Global Country of World Peace in France inaugurates projects on Day of Lasting Achievements

The Global Country of World Peace launched several new projects in France on the auspicious Akshaya Tritiya, Day of Lasting Achievements in the Vedic Calendar.

On 28 April 2009, the following day, Raja Michael Dillbeck, Raja of Invincible France for the Global Country of World Peace, reported on three major initiatives launched in his domain.

First, in the Brahma-Sthan (geographical centre) of France, the Global Country of World Peace has begun to obtain new lands with permission to begin construction for a Maharishi Peace Colony* of 800 residents, which will help establish invincibility for the nation. A detailed survey has been sent to Yogic Flyers in France who have expressed interest in living full- or part-time in a Maharishi Sthapatya Veda home or apartment in the Peace Colony. 'Now that we've begun to gather information on potential residents for the community, we're ready to move forward to acquire land,' said Raja Dillbeck.

Also inaugurated on Akshaya Tritiya, 27 April, was a project to send a brochure on World Peace and Invincibility, created by Raja John Hagelin, Raja of Invincible America, to all members of French government—including the national assembly and senate. In addition, letters and brochures are being sent out to 700 private schools and institutions of higher education, to inform them of the benefits of Consciousness-Based Education.

Finally, on the Day of Lasting Achievements a new organization was inaugurated, called Maharishi Technologies France, which will offer all courses, services, and products of the Global Country of World Peace to the people of the nation.

*Maharishi Peace Colony: A community founded to help create invincibility for a nation, based on the principles of Maharishi's Vedic Science and its practical applications for living perfection in all areas of life—featuring homes and buildings for group practice of Yogic Flying—all built according to Vedic Architecture, Maharishi Sthapatya Veda.
