Unfolding the structure of Total Knowledge: the ocean of consciousness in motion

After viewing the first scene of Maharishi's Veda Lila during the global Celebration of Holi, the Vedic Festival of Colours, by the Global Mother Divine Organization*, one of the Raj Rajeshwaris—Mothers of the World from the Sovereign Domain of Consciousness—explained more about this 'play of Total Knowledge': When we awake to the reality that our Self, Atma, is the ocean of Total Knowledge in motion, she said, we realize that we are Totality. This is Brahm, full enlightenment.

The Raj Rajeshwari said that in Maharishi's Vedic Science, the elements of knowledge are Rishi, Devata, and Chandas, the knower, knowing, and known. In the Vedic language Rishi is the seer of the Veda, the knower, the silent witness of all activity; Devata is the process of knowing, the dynamic process of transformation; and Chhandas is the known, that which covers and hides Rishi and Devata.

Consciousness knows itself as Rishi, the knower; Devata, the process of knowing; and Chandas, the known. 'When the ocean of consciousness knows itself as one and three at the same time, it reverberates and makes a sound, just like the ocean roaring in waves,' the Raj Rajeshwari said.

The sounds of the ocean of Total Knowledge moving within itself are called Shruti, which means that which is heard. 'The Shruti are expressed as Richas, the verses of the Veda,' she explained. 'How do these verses emerge from one field of pure consciousness, pure awareness? Through Smriti, memory, the wakeful quality of consciousness, which remembers itself.'

Another Raj Rajeshwari explained that the same wisdom of Maharishi's Vedic Science has been discovered by modern science in the discovery of the holistic, unified, most abstract level of the Laws of Nature—the Unified Field.

'When our awareness is awake to itself, we can know, do, and achieve anything,' she said. 'Maharishi has given us powerful techniques to harness all the Laws of Nature in our own awareness through the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, especially Yogic Flying, for the fulfilment of desires and bubbling bliss in daily life.'
