UK Maharishi School inspires plans for similar schools in many countries

The success of the Maharishi School in Skelmersdale, England has drawn Head Teachers from diverse countries to visit—and return to their own countries inspired to create similar institutions.

This school—along with Maharishi School of the Age of Enlightenment in Fairfield, Iowa, USA are exemplary schools for the world, said Raja Peter Warburton, Raja of Invincible Great Britain for the Global Country of World Peace.

Since the UK Maharishi school was established 20 years ago, its students have achieved an impressive record of academic excellence. This is particularly significant because the school has an open admissions policy—students are not preselected for academic ability, Raja Peter said.

In recent years, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi put great emphasis on establishing Maharishi Schools and offering Consciousness-Based Education in existing schools, Raja Peter said. Consciousness-Based Education not only develops the full potential of the students, creating an enlightened future generation—but through the students' group practice of the Transcendental Meditation Programme and Yogic Flying also creates invincibility for the nation, he explained.

Raja Peter highlighted the recent comment of Dr Derek Cassells, Head Teacher of the Maharishi School in the UK, that Consciousness-Based Education as developed by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi is applicable to any system of education anywhere, and that it will enable any school or institution to achieve the very highest standards.

'It is a profound yet simple system which recognizes that balance in the nervous system is the basis of academic success for pupils, and professional success for teachers, as well as providing a centre of coherence for the nation. It is more than a win-win situation, it is a win-win-win situation,' Dr Cassells said.

Raja Peter noted that Raja Michael Dilbeck, Raja of Invincible France, and Dr Susie Dilbeck, President of the International Foundation for Consciousness-Based Education, recently completed beautiful courses with step-by-step knowledge that makes it easy to offer Consciousness-Based Education around the world.
