Peruvian Official Newspaper recognizes benefits of Consciousness-Based Education

The Peruvian Official Newspaper recognized Consciousness-Based Education as beneficial for its schools.

On 24 February 2009, Raja Jose Jose Luis Alvarez, Raja of Invincible Latin America for the Global Country of World Peace, reported that a Peruvian Educational report was published stating that the Transcendental Meditation Programme had positively affected schools in three important ways.

First, schools that have implemented the programme have seen relief from violence. Second, the schools' atmospheres have softened on the whole, as shown by a decrease in destructive behaviours and an improvement in quality of relationships.

Third, there have been improvements in school performance among students participating in the Consciousness-Based Education programme: students receive better grades, develop increased confidence in their abilities, and win more awards; and schools as a whole gain greater recognition in the school system.

Raja Luis concluded by congratulating the six Transcendental Meditation Teachers working in Peru, led by Javier Ortiz, who have led the nation to invincibility through teaching thousands of schoolchildren TM and the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, including Yogic Flying.
