Construction of two Maharishi Vedic Architecture school buildings has begun in Ethiopia. In addition, Consciousness-Based Education in existing schools is expanding.
The National Director of Ethiopia for the Global Country of World Peace is building the school buildings on six hectares of land. The foundation has been laid for a large auditorium, and construction of another building for classrooms and laboratories has also begun.
About two weeks ago, the National Director met with the board that supervises these projects, which had provided the land, and they were very impressed, supportive, and happy with the progress, said Raja Bruce Plaut, Raja of Invincible Ethiopia for the Global Country of World Peace.
There are also two secondary schools in the country—one with 140 students and one with 160 students—interested in Consciousness-Based Education. Sixty students at one school have learned the Transcendental Meditation Technique, said Raja Plaut, and fundraising efforts are underway so that the rest of the students can learn.
Ethiopia needs a group of about 950 Yogic Flyers to create national invincibility, Raja Plaut said. The students at these schools could make a significant contribution towards creating indomitable peace, harmony, and all positivity in their nation.
