On 30 December 2008, it was announced that initial plans are underway to pursue various building projects in Russia. Among proposals discussed by leaders of the Global Country of World Peace were the construction of a Eurasian business centre and a Maharishi University.
Dr Eike Hartmann, Minister of Architecture for the Global Country of World peace; a Purusha* Raja of universal domain; and Dr Bevan Morris, Global Country Prime Minister, discussed these ventures with the general director of an investment and development company in the nation.
'This young businessman [is] a long-time practitioner of the Transcendental Meditation Programme,' said Dr Hartmann. He has been working for many years to fulfil Maharishi's vision for a beautiful lake-side site for Maharishi's programmes in the region where he lives.
After exploring the lake's surrounding property, the group has located several pieces of land which are in accordance with the principles of Maharishi Sthapatya Veda. The Maharishi University, along with a Purusha Programme capital, will most likely be built on the shores of the lake, on a bay which opens auspiciously to the east. 'This location, surrounded by pure nature in the heart of Asia, will be conducive to the spiritual and intellectual development of students and Purusha members,' said the Purusha Raja.
In addition to the property on the lake, the Global Country of World Peace has acquired land for the establishment of an international business centre. The centre will include an international congress centre, stock exchange, and college for advanced communications and technology. In addition to the aforementioned features, the business centre will incorporate a Maharishi Tower of Invincibility.
Lastly, plans were made for the establishment of an Invincibility School in the area. The school will welcome up to 2,000 students—the number of Yogic Flyers needed to create invincibility for Russia.
Further meetings among these leaders will be held in the coming months to finalize building plans.
*Purusha: Maharishi has explained that Purusha means the Self, the quality of infinite silence of the Unified Field of Natural Law. Maharishi designed the Maharishi Purusha Programme for men who wish to dedicate themselves fulltime to the most rapid pace of evolution possible and creating world peace, through extended group practice of the Transcendental Meditation-Sidhi Programme, including Yogic Flying, fulfilling the goals of the Global Country of World Peace in 192 countries of the world.
