Speaking 12 July 2008 on Maharishi Global Family Chat, Raja John Konhaus, Raja of Invincible Japan for the Global Country of World Peace, reported that the Maharishi Academy in Nasu, Japan has recently made refinements in order to align the school even more closely with the principles of Maharishi Sthapatya Veda.
The project included rebuilding the school's surrounding fence. The new fence, said Raja Konhaus, is 'elaborate and beautiful'. In addition to being more aesthetically pleasing, it is positioned even more precisely and accurately than the old one with reference to the principles of Maharishi Sthapatya-Veda, Vedic Architecture in accord with Natural Law.
The academy, built over 10 years ago, was already one of the leading Sthapatya-Veda complexes in the world, said Raja Konhaus. 'However, with Maharishi's continual emphasis on perfect Sthapatya-Vedic alignment (Vastu) as a determinant of success and experiential growth, the academy decided to strive even further towards this perfection.'
Raja Konhaus expressed the profound improvement he felt in the school's atmosphere after the building of the fence. 'I can truly say that I am able to perceive the difference according to the level of Vastu,' he said.
