Speaking recently on the Maharishi Global Family Chat, Raja Jose Luis Alvarez, Raja of Latin America for the Global Country of World Peace, reported on the rise of invincibility for the nearly 190 million people of Brazil.
In his report, Raja Luis announced that construction of the Maharishi Tower of Invincibility is planned to begin next week in the state of Ceara in northeast Brazil. Known for its temperate climate and Atlantic forests, it is an area of 'Nitya Vasantha', which means 'eternal spring'. This will be the Capital of the Global Country of World Peace for all of South America.
Raja Luis also announced that three major universities in Brazil have begun implementing Consciousness-Based Education with 45,000 students expected to learn the Transcendental Meditation Technique in the coming school years. First the teachers will learn Transcendental Meditation along with principles of the Science of Creative Intelligence, which will allow them to conduct the programme of Consciousness-Based Education in their classrooms.
In addition, Raja Luis noted that the demand for Ayur-Vedic medicine in the country has increased due to a recent visit to Brazil by the President of India, who urged Brazilians to adopt Ayur-Vedic health care. The former Minister of Health for Brazil, Jose Saraiva Felipe, has already investigated Maharishi Vedic Approach to Health and is moving ahead with plans to open Maharishi Hospitals in several cities.
Raja Luis emphasized that his approach to securing invincibility for the nation is to first create groups of Yogic Flyers. 'And then success will come to all the other programmes.' He concluded that the plan in Brazil is to create more than the 1,370 Yogic Flyers needed in the country, by teaching as many as 1,500 students in each of the states of Minas Gerais, Sao Paulo, and Brasilia.
