Invincibility for Peru through Consciousness-Based Education

In a recent Maharishi Global Family Chat, Dr Jose Luis Alvarez, Raja (Administrator) of the Global Country of World Peace for Invincible Latin America, reported about the growing number of student Yogic Flyers in Peru.

In Peru, Consciousness-Based Education has been introduced into schools based on last year's success of 1,000 Yogic Flyers already created there. Raja Alvarez reported that the education authorities have now introduced Consciousness-Based Education in the curriculum and academic activities of three schools. All students will learn Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation and the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme including Yogic Flying, as well as taking the Science of Creative Intelligence course.

'This course prepares them for the experience and intellectual understanding of Maharishi's Total Knowledge, which offers enlightenment to every individual, the basis of invincibility for the nation. About 700 students will be practising Yogic Flying now in their classes twice a day,' Raja Alvarez said. Another school has 350 Yogic Flyers.

Raja Alvarez was also very happy to report that the priest who is the leader of one of these schools had honoured Maharishi with a celebration of Holy Mass with the whole school. Raja Alvarez said that everyone at the school has been speaking about the fulfilment of education that Maharishi's programme has brought to the school. All the students practising Yogic Flying have created a very special atmosphere.

These three schools will be taking the Science of Creative Intelligence curriculum together in the same city, with the same times for their daily meditation practice. So by April, when all the students have completed the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, there will be about 2,200 practising Yogic Flying together daily in the schools in Peru.

Raja Alvarez said, 'This is enough for the invincibility of all Latin America. This is the news, the inspiration, and the commitment of the authorities and school principals in Peru.'
