12 January 2008
On 12 January 2008 Edge Life Magazine reported:
Twice daily practice of the Transcendental Meditation Technique is the basis of happiness and success according to the 2006 Valedictorian of Maharishi School of the Age of Enlightenment in Fairfield, Iowa, USA, who is now an undergraduate student at Maharishi University of Management, also located in Fairfield, Iowa.
It is a joy for Global Good News service to feature this news, which indicates the success of the life-supporting programmes Maharishi has designed to bring
fulfilment to the field of education.
'Success in every area of my life stems from the reservoir of deep inner peace, happiness and intelligence that I dive into twice a day when I meditate,' states Valedictorian Puki Freeburg in Edge Life.
Although it is generally accepted that stress is part of student life, particularly in college, and part of great accomplishments after graduation, Ms Freeberg says in the article: 'By allowing myself the time twice a day to turn my attention inward to this field of infinite creativity and bliss, I come out of my practice refreshed, and I carry these qualities with me into whatever activity I choose. I find that I am able to accomplish and excel at whatever I put my mind to, without getting stressed out.'
Inner happiness, which Ms Freeburg says 'permeates every aspect of my life' is the 'single-most important reason' for her regular practice of Transcendental Meditation, the article states.
Through Transcendental Meditation, she says in Edge Life, she experiences a field of unboundedness, which modern physics calls the Unified Field—'the source of all creativity, intelligence and happiness—and as a side effect, success'.
