School students win seven national photo awards

Maharishi Upper School* photography students came away with seven national awards at the 2007 Association of Texas Photography Teachers Fall Photography Contest last month in Arlington, Texas.

The judges viewed over 2,988 prints from 59 high schools and selected 206 winners from 45 high schools nationally.

Deena Thiel won two first-place awards, Camille Morehead and Mollie Cutler came away with third-place awards, and receiving honorable mention distinction were Dominic Rabalais, Mollie Cutler, and Kenzie Wacknov.
