Belfast Telegraph Translate This Article
22 October 2007
On 22 October 2007 Belfast Telegraph reported:
Queen's University in Belfast recently hosted award-winning director David Lynch, who was in Northern Ireland promoting both his book 'Catching the Big Fish: Meditation, Consciousness, and Creativity' and the David Lynch Foundation, which provides scholarships to children and teenagers who learn Transcendental Meditation, and also promotes consciousness-based education in schools.
It is a joy for Global Good News service to feature this news, which indicates the success of the life-supporting programmes Maharishi has designed to bring
fulfilment to the field of education.
The popular director—well known for such films as 'The Elephant Man' and 'Blue Velvet'—answered numerous questions from the hundreds present in Whitla Hall.
The Belfast Telegraph article quoted Lynch as saying, '(Transcendental Meditation is) the most thoroughly researched and widely practised programme in the world for developing the full creative potential of the brain and mind, improving health, reducing stress, and improving academic outcomes'.
Lynch was joined by the legendary singer Donovan, who entertained the audience with his greatest hits.
Every day Global Good News documents the rise of a better quality of life dawning in the world and highlights the need for introducing Natural Law based—Total
Knowledge based—programmes to bring the support of Nature to every individual, raise the quality of life of every society, and create a lasting state of world peace.
