Education in terms of 'waves of bliss'

On a recent Global Family Chat, Dr Kingsley Brooks, Raja (Administrator) of New England, USA, for the Global Country of World Peace, spoke about the students' experience of learning in Maharishi Vedic Schools.

'Maharishi Mahesh Yogi* reminds us,' said Dr Brooks, 'that the students' experience of learning in our Vedic schools will be in terms of ''waves of bliss''. The study and experience of the Constitution of the Universe is going to be in waves of bliss. It is not going to be a task for the students. Students will not fail as in today's system of education, where examinations are a concern and fear to the students.

'The [student's] normal behaviour is in terms of bliss. It's not a task; the actions will not be of hardship—not out of strain, not out of hard work.

'Fulfilment or progress is not out of hard work, it is out of bliss, which is the opposite of hard work. The study in Vedic Schools is going to be a joy from beginning to end, all the time. [It is] the onset of Total Knowledge enlivening all possibilities.

'Now, at Maharishi Academy of Total Knowledge—High School for Leadership (in Antrim, New Hampshire), we will be creating the leaders who will not make mistakes—human beings who will not fail, but who enjoy the support of total Natural Law that exists in the bliss of their own Transcendental Consciousness.

'It is with great humility, dedication, and honour, that we say all glory to Guru Dev** for blessing us with this supreme knowledge of life,' Dr Brooks concluded.
