Maharishi University of Enlightenment offers Total Knowledge of Natural Law for perfection in life

During the recent ceremonies conferring honorary degrees on Dr Kumari Urvashi Shrivastava in the field of Vedic Dance, the president of Maharishi University of Enlightenment (MUE) explained the purpose and inestimable value of the education offered by this distinguished institution of higher learning.

The president explained that Maharishi University of Enlightenment was established in January 1998, and is the first university in the world fully authorized by the government to offer the mothers of society bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees in Maharishi Vedic Science, the Science of Consciousness. The University was licensed in 2001 by the Board of Governors of the University of North Carolina, USA, to offer degrees in Maharishi Vedic Science. In April 2007, MUE became a government university itself, when it was authorized by the City Council of Maharishi Vedic City, Iowa, USA, to grant these degrees as a city university of Maharishi Vedic City.

'As its name makes clear', the president further explained, 'the purpose of Maharishi University of Enlightenment is to provide a university education that develops enlightenment, Total Knowledge of Natural Law, total brain functioning in every student.

'The central campus of Maharishi University of Enlightenment is now here in Maharishi Vedic City, Iowa, USA, where all of the students are engaged in the most fulfilling, universally useful and applicable programme of study and research available anywhere in the world—research into their own consciousness, that Unified Field of Natural Law where all streams of diverse knowledge are available to direct experience, in one unified awareness, in the Self of every student.

'All the students are being given the master key to all knowledge, and to every possible achievement in life. They are directly experiencing that field by knowing which everything can be known. Maharishi University of Enlightenment is currently in the process of establishing many more campuses around the world, so that the mothers of society in every part of the globe will have the opportunity to partake of this ideal education, which offers them knowledge, experience, and application of the field of Total Knowledge and its infinite organizing power for perfection in life, education for higher states of consciousness, education for enlightenment.'
