Denmark invites students, scholarships available

Consciousness-Based Education has advanced rapidly in Denmark in recent months, with four schools in Copenhagen requesting instruction in Transcendental Meditation. Eight additional schools have invited presentations.

The Folk High School for Development of Consciousness, which was established 27 years ago in the Zeeland region of Denmark, invites applications for its Autumn course commencing in September 2007. The course offers an unprecedented opportunity for individuals from all EU countries to study in Denmark, and now for the first time applications are anticipated from Eastern European countries and other new members of the EU, including Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Slovakia, and Slovenia. Students have the opportunity to learn Transcendental Meditation, while studying all aspects of Maharishi's Vedic Science. Courses in Art, Film, Digital Art, and Music are also offered.

The Danish government, which supports the Folk High School project, provides scholarships for all people 18 years or older with English-speaking skills, to participate in this unique course of study. Each student is asked to pay an application fee of 200 Euros as well as their own travel expenses.
