Blessing every student with 'mistake-free' life by developing total brain functioning

In this week's Global News Conference broadcast live on the Maharishi Channel and over the Internet, His Excellency Dr John Hagelin, Minister of Science of Technology of the Global Country of World Peace, explained how the revolution in education brought about by the introduction of Consciousness-Based Education and Transcendental Meditation into the traditional system of education, creates 'mistake-free life' for every student through the development of their full brain potential.

Dr Hagelin explained how the higher brain—responsible for judgement, moral reasoning, and the ability to perceive the implications of our actions—only develops with the experience of pure consciousness, which engages the total brain and promotes integrated brain functioning.

The introduction of the Transcendental Meditation technique to integrate the functioning of the brain and create balanced brain development is revolutionary in the field of education.

It is remarkable to note, Dr Hagelin pointed out, that irrespective of this full brain development, the experience of pure, Transcendental Consciousness, the Unified Field of Natural Law, together with the growth of more expanded comprehension, already fulfil the very purpose of education—to prevent mistakes and the problems born of mistakes, and to bring spontaneously effective and successful action in life.

'When total Natural Law, the Unified Field, is lively in individual consciousness,' Dr Hagelin said, 'all thought and action arising from this silent field of consciousness within is suffused with that quality of total Natural Law.' All thought and action are fully aligned with Natural Law. Behaviour aligned with Natural Law is behaviour aligned with the life-supporting, all-nourishing intelligence that flawlessly governs the universe with perfect order and without a problem.

This spontaneous right action and evolutionary behaviour is of maximum benefit to oneself and the whole society.
