On 29 September 2005 Global Good News reported:
According to reports from the US Peace Government, students on campuses across the United States are swarming into packed halls to hear filmmaker David Lynch, Dr John Hagelin, and Dr Fred Travis speak on 'Consciousness, Creativity, and the Brain'.
It is a joy for Global Good News service to feature this news, which indicates the success of the life-supporting programmes Maharishi has designed to bring
fulfilment to the field of education.
As a result, more than 1,500 students have signed up to receive more information about the Transcendental Meditation programme and the David Lynch Foundation for Consciousness-Based Education and World Peace.
At the University of Pennsylvania a standing-room-only crowd of 800 heard the lecture while an additional 600 listened to the presentation outside via large outdoor speakers.
Students at American University in Washington, DC, had only two days' notice about the David Lynch tour, yet 550 students filled the Bender Arena to capacity.
On all the campuses visited so far, the 'Consciousness, Creativity, and the Brain' forum featuring film maker David Lynch and scientists Dr John Hagelin and Dr Fred Travis has drawn about 5% of the total student population at the universities—a phenomenal percentage for events such as this one.
Every day Global Good News documents the rise of a better quality of life dawning in the world and highlights the need for introducing Natural Law based—Total
Knowledge based—programmes to bring the support of Nature to every individual, raise the quality of life of every society, and create a lasting state of world peace.
