Is there a way to create world peace by enjoying beautiful works of art and supporting artists? This new online gallery, World Peace Artists, aims to do just that by supporting a group of 9,000 Maharishi Vedic Pandits in the center of India with a percentage of the proceeds from the sale of prints and original works of art.
What are Maharishi Vedic Pandits? Vedic means knowledge and Pandit means expert. The Pandits perform Yoga and Yagya every day. In this case, Yoga means Transcendental Meditation and its advanced practices. Yagya means Vedic performances—recitations—which are done daily by the Pandits for the welfare, peace, prosperity and harmony of the whole world. UNESCO has officially described Vedic recitation as an intangible heritage of humanity.
The Pandits are trained from a very young age to become peace professionals. They experience their own deep silence through Transcendental Meditation and its advanced practices, and then recite specific Vedic expressions from that silent field. The sounds that they are reciting are the fundamental organizing sounds of nature itself which create a powerful positive influence for the world.
Thanks to generous supporters from over 90 countries, the group in India has increased in recent years to about 2,000 Pandits. The goal of World Peace Artists is to help raise annual support for 9,000 Vedic Pandits—the number needed to have a global effect—and to build an endowment fund that will secure the group permanently, creating world peace for all times.
The main purpose of establishing a large group of Vedic Pandits is to create an effect of coherence and harmony in world consciousness. Years of scientific research have shown that negative trends are reduced and positive trends are strengthened whenever sufficient numbers of people practice Transcendental Meditation and the advanced TM-Sidhi program together in a group.

How does World Peace Artists Support the Arts and Create World Peace?
The artists participating in World Peace Artists have joined together to support the Maharishi Vedic Pandit program in India to create permanent world peace. This website gives artists access to a global network of peace-loving clients, interested in both acquiring beautiful art and supporting proven, practical programs for global harmony and peace.
