Maharishi Gandharva Veda music concerts were recently held throughout Ukraine. The concerts were held in eight cities, and featured a renowned Gandharva Veda flautist.
Maharishi Mahesh Yogi explained that Gandharva Veda is for the creation of Heaven on Earth, an administrator of the Transcendental Meditation Programme in Ukraine said, adding that not only were people delighted with the concerts, but they seemed to have 'a really beautiful effect on the country'.
The flautist also conducted a Maharishi Gandharva Veda flute course. An accomplished musician, he has been a supporter of the Transcendental Meditation organization since the late 1980s, and recently has been working at Maharishi University of Management in Fairfield, Iowa, USA.
The course drew participants from throughout Ukraine. They were thrilled with the course and hope to be able to enjoy similar courses on a regular basis.
